I have been trying to run my little application in the emulator which comes with Android Studio or the Android SDK only for some reason it stopped working after I decided to run all the updates Android Studio suggested.Īfter a bit of research it looks like you need to run the emulator from a different directly tools/emulator vs emulator/emulator then it works for me:
